IETE Orientation Program
To foster early engagement and awareness among students about the fast-evolving landscape of Electronics and Communication Engineering, the Department of ECE at CMRCET organized an Orientation Programme under the IETE Student Forum on 1st March 2025, held at the CMRGI Auditorium.
This event served as an inspiring beginning to a new academic year focused on innovation, technical advancement, and professional growth. It aimed to introduce students to the objectives of the IETE Student Forum while encouraging them to explore opportunities in research, technology, and industry collaborations.
The programme was honored by the presence of Shri Sunil, President of IETE, New Delhi, who delivered an insightful keynote address. He emphasized the transformative role of engineers in driving national progress and the importance of staying updated with technological trends.
Dr. V. Gunasekhar Reddy, DIG of Police (Retd.) and Immediate Past President of IETE, shared a motivational talk highlighting the importance of ethics, leadership, and responsibility in the modern tech ecosystem. His address inspired students to pursue excellence while upholding integrity in their careers.
